Was my order successful?

After placing an order by choosing the items you want to purchase, adding them to your shopping cart and proceeding to checkout, you will receive your order confirmation via email. If you have not received a confirmation email, please contact us under service@klokwatch.com. If you did create a user account on our website, which is recommended, you can see your order when logged in.

How do I pay for my order?

Credit card: Your credit card details are never stored on the www.klokwatch.com website in any way, and are passed on directly to our Payment Gateway for authorization and authentication. They cannot be read or accessed by anyone other than your bank as all your financial details are passed through a secure server using the latest encryption technology up to 256-bit SSL (secure socket layer) ensuring that your information is kept private. There is no extra charge for card payments.

Bank transfer / advance payment: After successfully placing your order, you will receive your order confirmation via email. In the email, you will find the amount to be transferred and our bank details. Always use your order number as reference so we can assign your payment. After your payment has been received, we will ship out your KLOK order.

What happens if KLOK doesn't receive my payment?

If the payment has not been received after submitting your order, KLOK will automatically cancel your order.

Where can I enter my discount code / voucher code?

Your discount or voucher code can be added at the end of the order process in the field “Voucher / Discount”. The value will immediately be discounted from the total sum. Please note that you can only use one discount or voucher code per order.

Why should I create a KLOK account?

Because it allows you to keep track of your complete order history.

How is my order status?

If money has been captured from your account, the order has reached us and will be processed. Your order confirmation is sent to the email address you provided when placing your order. You can also see your order status if you log in to your user account.

Why can't I see my order on my account?

You need to be logged in when placing the order for the purchase to be seen on your account. You will however receive all necessary order information by email even though you were not logged when placing the order.

How do I change, cancel or return my order?

If you have paid by credit card, you cannot change or cancel your order as the order has been paid for immediately and is processed for distribution and on the way to you. Of course, you can always use your cancellation right and return the article within 14 days after order. If you chose payment via bank transfer and haven’t transferred the money yet, you can cancel your order. Please contact us under service@klokwatch.com.

Important note: the goods need to be new, unpacked in the original packaging, unused and have to be returned in exactly the same condition as when received.

How do I receive my shipment?

Orders from within the EU are shipped to you from Austria.

Once your KLOK order has been confirmed you will receive notification by email that your delivery has been shipped. We strive to dispatch all orders within 24 to 48 hours (excluding during public holidays). Delivery in Austria and Germany will be within 48 hours after dispatch. In other selected EU countries it might take a day or two longer.

Is it possible to track my order?

We are using LOGWIN as distributor and DPD as our courier service . You will be able to track your delivery at any time on http://status.logwin-logistics.com/logwin/kunden/logwin/trackit.php by typing your invoice number in the REVERENCE field.

What if I received the wrong product?

You as the customer must control the received items right after delivery to assess if they are correct and flawless. If you have received the wrong item or if the item is somehow damaged, please contact us under service@klokwatch.com  within 14 days.

What is the watch made of?

Watchcase and watch back: Stainless steel

The rose gold watch has a stainless steel core and two platings on top of this. A titanium carbo-nitride base coating and a rose gold top coating made of 80% 23 carat gold and 20% copper to create the rose color. The plating is fixed using an evacuated chamber and there are no liquids involved.

Clockwork: Japanese Citizen Miyota movement

Glass: Hardened mineral glass, resistant against normal wear and tear but should be used with care.

Battery: standard button cell Battery with up to 5 years life

Leather wristband: Italian cow hide leather.

Wristband information

All of our watches have interchangeable wristbands. You can also purchase additional wristbands separately.

How do I put on another wristband?

Introduction

KLOK is a brand of City Watch International. These terms of use govern your use of and purchases from the www.klokwatch.com website and form a contract between you and City Watch International, South African Company registration number 1996/008474/23 .

By using and making a purchase from the KLOK website, you have agreed to these terms of use. Please read them carefully and make sure you understood them when using our site.

Confirmation

Once we have received your order, you will receive your order confirmation via email. Therefore it is very important that you enter a correct email address. If you have not received a confirmation email, please contact us under service@klokwatch.com . We recommend you save the confirmation email to facilitate any future contact with our customer service.

Ordering

Orders made in another person’s name without their consent will be reported to the police. City Watch International holds the right to change or correct prices on all orders as well as final sales. If a price is obviously incorrect, this may oblige KLOK to cancel the purchase and refund any amount paid. This can be performed at any time.

Payment

Pay with your Visa or MasterCard securely over the Internet. KLOK does not handle any credit card numbers. Your credit card details are never stored on the www.klok.watch website in any way, and are passed on directly to our Payment Gateway for authorization and authentication. Rates 1

All prices on our South African homepage include VAT which is 14 % of the price. When you order from a country within the EU or in South Africa you pay the price including VAT and no other fees are added. The deduction or inclusion of the VAT is to meet the recommended retail price. When you order from a country outside of South Africa VAT is deducted from the price, instead you pay VAT and custom duty (where applicable) in your homeland.

Delivery, cancellations and return instructions

Deliveries are made in cooperation with postal services and their partners. Private Consumers have the right to return the order within 14 days from receiving the order. To arrange contact our KLOK customer service or use the contact form on our website. The returned goods need to be new, unpacked in the original packaging, unused and have to be returned in exactly the same condition as when received. The original sales invoice must be included in the return shipment.  Refunds for returned merchandise will be made within 2 weeks of the return of the product, to the original purchaser’s credit card or bank account. You will receive an email confirming the registration of your return. If you haven’t received an email within 2 weeks from the date that you returned your package, please contact our customer service with your order and tracking number.

Important note: return shipping is paid by the costumer and additional duties and/or taxes will not be refunded. Neither will shipping costs. If an item is damaged during transport, KLOK will not take any responsibility and will not provide compensation. For further instructions on how to proceed please contact.

If you believe the delivery is delayed in a way that you no longer wish to fulfill your order, it is your responsibility as a customer to cancel the order. If your order has already been dispatched, you will have to wait and receive the order. Cancellation is not valid until you have confirmed with KLOK by email. In case a product has been discontinued, KLOK has the right to cancel the purchase and refund the paid amount to the customer. The customer will be informed of a replacement or equivalent products if available.

Complaints Terms

It is important that you as a customer carefully check your goods when you receive your shipment in order to verify that the products are not damaged and the correct one that have ordered. If your product was damaged by transport, whether the damage is visible or hidden, you must report this to the carrier as soon as possible. If you receive your item and there is visible damage, or the item does not match the one you ordered, please contact us within 14 days from receiving the product.

Please make all complaints to our customer service through the contact form on the KLOK website. Always supply the order number and the reason for complaint and we will get back to you as soon as possible with instructions on how to return the item. Defective products returned to KLOK should be treated as if they were faultless. It is in all types of returns extremely important that the product is packaged in a way it cannot be damaged during transport. In case a returned product is without fault and has no errors or defects, a fee of EUR 20.- in shipping return will be charged. KLOK has the right to replace defective goods with goods of the same model. If the item has been discontinued, the customer will receive a full refund.

Intellectual property rights

All intellectual property rights, such as trademarks and copyright on the website and the published content on it, are owned by City Watch International or its subsidiaries or licensors. Any use of the site or its content, including copying or storing such content in whole or part, other than for your own personal, non-commercial use, is prohibited without the permission of City Watch International.

User content:

If our website www.klokwatch.com includes user generated content from social media applications and suchlike, KLOK does not claim any ownership in rights in such content and take no legal responsibility for it. User content will be marked.

Retention of title

All products remain in City Watch International property until full payment is made.

Fraud

All attempts at fraud will be reported to the police and KLOK reserves the right to cancel the purchase if any suspicion is raised.

Termination

City Watch International reserves the right to terminate your account and/or your use of the www.klokwatch.com website at its sole discretion. If City Watch International suspects that you have breached this terms of use, your account will be terminated. Such termination can be made without prior notice.

Governing law and jurisdiction

These terms and your use of the www.klok.watch website are governed by South African law. To the extent permitted by law, South African courts shall have exclusive jurisdiction of any dispute arising from these terms of use and your use of the website, subject to City Watch International right to prosecute a user at his/her place of residence.

Our warranty term is two years from the date of purchase. Our limited warranty covers manufacturing defects on the watch itself (movement, case, crystal). Parts other than the above are not covered by this warranty. The warranty excludes the battery, strap and excessive wear, damage to the case or crystal, water damages. KLOK is not liable for any consequential or incidental damages, and any recovery may not exceed the amount paid for the timepiece. You will not be charged for repair or replacement under this warranty but you may have to cover the costs of packaging and mailing your watch to us and back to you.

To have replacement covered under this warranty performed, use our contact form under “Contact us” and choose “Support” in the subject line. You need to specify your name, address, order number, watch serial number (on the back of your watch)  and a detailed description of the issue at hand.

Repair or replacements will be charged in the following cases, even during the warranty term:
– failure or damage caused by improper use or carelessness (knocks, dents, crushing, broken crystal, etc.)
– failure or damage caused by unjustifiable repair or modification
– failure or damage caused by fire or water, or any natural disaster
– esthetical changes that occur during normal wear and tear and aging, like minor scratches on the case and/or crystal, marks or alteration of the color on the watchband, fading of gold plating etc.
– in case the watch is not accompanied by the sales invoice when sent in to us.
– if the warranty is not submitted along with the watch

Battery replacement: If your battery needs to be exchanged it will be charged for even during the warranty term.

If the originals are not available for any reason, the case, dial, hands, crystal, watchband or other parts may be replaced with substitutes.

This warranty guarantees you to receive free replacement in accordance with the terms set forth in this warranty and within the specified term, and shall not restrict any of your lawful rights as a customer.

Our recommendation is that you visit a local proper watchmaker and let them look at the damage. If they feel a warranty matter is concerned, contact us for more information on how to proceed.

The information that is collected by KLOK is used solely for the order and delivery process. KLOK shall be exempt from liability for damages and other penalties on the performance of the contract prevented, hindered or delayed if failure of performance is a result of force majeure including fire, flood and other natural disasters, lack of delivery from suppliers, war, hostilities, government intervention (e.g. custom intervention), new / amended legislation, labor disturbance, poor transport or weather conditions, interruption or failure of electricity and telephone service, prohibitions, restrictions, sabotage, or if the company is exposed to criminal activity that affects product delivery.
